About Us

T

he Sand Springs Soccer Club’s Mission is to promote the development of youth soccer in our community through participation in our recreational soccer program.  Our primary focus is to develop the individual player’s knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for the game of soccer, while promoting growth of “The Beautiful Game” within our community.  "Developing the Future” is our motto.

The leadership of the Sand Springs Soccer Club, through the education and participation of our parent-coaches, is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for the children of our community.  We strive to develop the physical, athletic, and mental attributes required to enhance the player’s individual soccer experience.  The core philosophy we endeavor to instill into our parent-coaches is based on individual player development, not with wins and/or losses of the team.  We believe in promoting social attributes of competition, team work, good sportsmanship, and encourage positive, ethical, and moral behavior which we believe translates into individual success on and off the field.

The Sand Springs Soccer Club strives to provide fun and challenging soccer related activities for children of all skill levels.  We offer unlimited opportunities for growth and advancement through our recreational program, and through our sister club’s competitive program WSA - West Side Alliance.

The Sand Springs Soccer Club is staffed solely by parent-volunteers who give selflessly of their time.  The leadership consists of all parent-volunteer’s: volunteer board, volunteer coordinators, volunteer facility management, and volunteer coaches who all want to give back to our community in a positive manner.  If you too would like to give back to your community and have a positive and meaningful long term impact on the lives of many children, please consider volunteering.

“For the love of the children … for the love of the game”
